The Toyota first introduced the Camry model to the United States in 1983. The 2011 model year is the sixth generation of the Camry. The Camry is manufactured in Georgetown, Ky., and distributed to all 50 states. The Camry comes with various levels of options and trims, designated as the base model, SE, LE and XLE.

Exterior Features

Several features on the exterior of the 2011 vehicle are different between the SE and LE models. The SE comes equipped with a smoke-colored version of the same headlights available on the LE. Integrated front fog lights are standard on the SE model to provide increased visibility in adverse driving conditions. Heated mirrors are available on the SE version, a nice feature for climates that experience below-freezing conditions.

Exterior Styling

The SE model has several standard features and options available to enhance the overall cosmetic appeal. A blacked-out front grille is standard, along with 17-inch rims and tires, while the LE model is only available with 16-inch rims. Color-coordinated under-body and rocker panels are an option to provide the SE model a sportier look. A rear spoiler painted to match the rest of the car is an option on the SE.

Interior Features

The SE model is available with several nice-to-have electronic features such as universal remote to open the garage door, and keyless entry. Leather-trimmed seats, arm rests and three-spoke steering wheel are options only for the SE. Metal sport pedals and blue background gauges are offered for the SE model while the LE has standard pedals and gauges. The LE offers a touchscreen navigation and entertainment center, with the SE offering voice activation on the same unit.

Safety Features

The LE and SE model have identical safety features. They both offer airbags in multiple locations for the driver and passenger. Electronic stability and drivers assist features such as traction control, and anti-lock brakes are the same in both models. Other common features include crumple zones, child locks, battery safe mode and seat-belt design.
